NEW T-SHIRT AVAILABLE NOW

Our new T-Shirt is now available from our Bandcamp page. It features artwork based on The Blissetts song 'Liars, Cheats, Thieves and Politicians' and was specially designed by Blissetts frontman Paul. It was printed using the sublimination process which prints the image at it's largest possible size on the shirt.

The shirt is for sale at £12 plus P&P and is available in S,M.L and XL. If anyone requires a larger size, let us know and we can get one printed in the next batch. However, be aware that due to the sublimination printing process, we can't get any shirts printed larger than 2XXL.

We also have the 'Independent and Unrepentent' shirt back in stock in S,M,L and XL. Again, let us know if you want anything larger, this shirt isn't affected by the print size.

PARIS

You will have seen on the news the tragic events in Paris that happened last Friday. We stand shoulder to shoulder with the people of France. We view ISIS as no different from the Nazis and Fascists, they're just different cheeks of the same arse! They thrive on people being divided, for this reason we must unite and show that as one, we will never be defeated.

NNEW T-SHIRT IN THE PIPELINE

We have designed a new T-Shirt featuring exclusive artwork from Paul Blissett based on the Liars, Cheats, Thieves and Politicians song. The shirt will be full colour and feature an extra large print. This will be kept to a strictly limited edition run so keep your eyes peeled and grab one while you can. We still have a few of the 'Independent and Unrepentent' shirts and a couple of hooded tops featuring the Dan Ball designed Skull and Crossbones, over in the 'Merch' section of our Bandcamp profile.

NOW BOOKING GIGS FOR 2016

We are currently looking for gigs for the rest of this year and also for next year, 2016. We have been confirmed for a Festival for the Summer of 2016 but have been sworn to secrecy until the Organisers decide to go public, which will probably be around Xmas 2015 or very early 2016. What we can tell you is that we will be playing on Friday 12th August 2016.

BALSTOCK 2015

Cheers to all the nutters that came to see us at Balstock and danced, jumped about, sang and got onstage with us. Thanks for making it such an awesome event. Also, thanks to Ed for returning once again to cover for Andy who was unavailable for this gig.

THE BLISSETTS BACK AT THE CORN EXCHANGE

We return to one of our favourite stomping grounds, the Hertford Corn Exchange, on Thursday 30th July when we support the Sex Pissed Dolls. Having supported the likes of the UK Subs and the Cockney Rejects there in the past, this time we play our second gig as a 5 piece with Jake on guitar, so don't miss this! it's only £7 on the door so catch us before we all piss off on holiday.

BALSTOCK FESTIVAL CONFIRMED

We are confirmed for the 10th Balstock Free Festival, taking place in the quaint Hertfordshire town of Baldock from 11th-13th September. We play the Baldock Town Hall on Sunday 13th, followed by our mates the Bleach Boys who will then close the stage.

MORE T SHIRTS AND HOODED TOPS IN STOCK

We've re-stocked the t shirts and now have the hooded tops available too. Hooded tops are available in M/L and XL.

Trot over to our bandcamp page to get your order in, all merchandise will be available at the Corn Exchange gig and Balstock.

TICKETS AVAILABLE FOR THE BLISSETTS GIG WITH PUNK LEGENDS '999'

Tickets are available online for our gig with punk rock heroes '999' at The Green Room, Welwyn Garden City on Saturday 4th July 2015. They're £10 in advance from www.wegottickets.com otherwise you can take your chances in paying £10 on the door. Also playing are St Albans psychobilly mob The Zipheads.

The Green Room very nearly closed it's doors last year due to lack of support for the live music scene in Welwyn, but Mungo and the crew have battled on and it would be great if you could all turn up at this gig to show your appreciation and support for live music. The Green Room is one of Hertfordshire's best live music venues and deserves your support, because when it's gone, it's gone. Then you will forever be Simon Cowell's bitch. Don't say we didn't warn you!

THE BLISSETTS ADD ANOTHER GUITARIST

W'e're proud to announce that Jake has joined the band after initially stepping in as Arup's emergency replacement for the Anti-Nowhere League gig. As luck would have it, not only was it a blistering performance, Arup was ok for the gig so we played for the first time as a 5 piece. Arup is still recovering so we've not booked up many gigs. We will however, be heading into the rehearsal room to write a bus load of new material before heading back out on the road in September.

MERCHANDISE AT LAST!

We finally have stuff to flog. The first run of The Blissetts 'Independent and Unrepentant' t-shirts sold out within a few days. We are just finalising artwork for a new run, also some hooded tops which will feature the Hand-Grenade/Skull that St Albans based artist Dan Ball designed for us. T-shirts will be £10 for S/M/L/XL or £13 with postage and packaging within the UK. Any other sizes required just let us know and we can get one printed up for you.

The hooded tops will be around £15 and will be a VERY LIMITED run, so keep your eyes peeled!

Please bare with us while we get the Merch section of this website up and running, for the moment all Merch is being sold via our Bandcamp page so you can pay via Paypal or through the Bandcamp payment ststem. Just follow the link below.

T - SHIRTS NOW AVAILABLE!

Full details on the T- Shirts will be posted on here in the next few days, unfortunately we totally underestimated the interest in them and will be looking at a second print run in the next week or so.

TICKETS STILL AVAILABLE FOR THE BLISSETTS GIG WITH THE ANTI-NOWHERE LEAGUE

Tickets are still available for our gig with the Anti-Nowhere League on Saturday 2nd May at The Flag in Watford. You can get them online here or from the bar in The Flag. However, they are selling fast so keep an eye on our Facebook and Twitter pages and we'll keep you up to date with the latest ticket news.

The gig will be our first performance this year and the first to feature new bassist Andy. It's going to be an awesome night, which could fast become a fucking mental one if Watford FC win the Championship title on the same day!

The Blissetts guitar hero Arup has finally had his long awaited stomach operation and is recovering well. We wish him all the best.

MERCHANDISE

After being moaned at for years, we are finally getting some T-Shirts done, the artwork has gone off to the printers and we should have them in time for the gig, full details soon! We are also getting some badges done and possibly another small run of the 'We're The Blissetts, Who The Fuck Are You?' CD, taking the CD run up to around 600 copies since it was released.

NEW YEAR - NEW BASSIST

We're proud to announce that Andy, guitarist with fellow Watford band 'The Jelly Fiends' has joined The Blissetts and taken over the bass playing duties from Jason. Jason decided to, in his own words, 'step out of The Blissetts' and move on to other projects. We wish him well and thank him for the time he spent with us.

Andy is a fellow Hornet and has been a long time fan and friend of The Blissetts since The Jellyfiends first crossed paths with us back in 2007 when both bands played at the 'Idiot Punkfest'. Having recently supported the legendary Toyah Wilcox at the O2 Academy, we approached Andy about taking over on bass just after Jay decided to leave. Also, Ed may be back now and again for the odd sporadic gig.

Andy Blissett's first appearance with the band will be at our gig with the Anti-Nowhere League on our home turf of The Flag in Watford on Saturday 2nd May 2015. Tickets are now available and the link is below.

NO GIGS BEFORE MAY 2015

We decided not to book any gigs for the first few months of 2015 due to the bass playing situation, but also due to the fact that Arup, The Blissetts testosterone fuelled guitar hero, will undergo a stomach operation in early March. We didn't want to take any risks with his health, given our history of near-exploding drummers and hedge trimmer accidents, so the Anti-Nowhere League gig is our first of 2015. Be there!!
